A 25-year-old Malaysian was reported to have blown himself up, killing 14 regime soldiers and injuring scores of others last month.
According to the New Straits Times, Hasan Zakaria, an Islamic State recruit in Syria, drove a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device towards a group of Kurdistan Workers’ Party soldiers before setting off the device in the southwest town of Ain Issa on Nov 15.
The English daily reported Bukit Aman's Counter-Terrorism division saying Hassan, who went by the the nom de guerre Abu Adam, was the ninth Malaysian suicide bomber to blow themselves up in Syria for IS.
