Wanita MCA has urged Penang chief minister Lim Guan Eng to cease displaying his “arrogance” and respect the media, instead of accusing them of not according him with enough coverage.

Its chief Heng Siai Kie in a statement today said Lim’s latest claims against Sin Chew Daily was ironic, pointing out that it was well known how many Chinese-language media had indirectly contributed towards the then Pakatan Rakyat and DAP’s success during the 2008 and 2013 general elections.

"The Penang Chief Minister must understand that there is a fine difference between dignity and arrogance. He should comprehend the media’s role to report on the news and current issues and not be personality or icon driven."
