Najib urged to speak out on Trump's 'Muslim ban'

The travel ban preventing citizens from seven predominantly Muslim nations from travelling to the United States has sparked outrage across the globe.

But one voice that has yet to be heard speaking out against the ban is that of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.

Najib is often quick to react to international incidents through his Twitter account, condemning terrorist attacks and issuing condolences within hours or a day of the incidents taking place.

Many are expecting him to say something on the travel ban enacted on Friday, especially after his bravado in lashing out at Myanmar and its de facto leader Aung Saan Suu Kyi over the violence against Rohingyas.
