YOURSAY | ‘Nazri, allegedly stealing RM2.6 billion was also unimaginable but it did happen here.’
Nazri: Avoid going to N Korea, they can do unimaginable things
Legit: Tourism and Culture Minister Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz, you know that people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.
You call North Korea a rogue nation but do you realise the current Malaysian government is also considered a rogue government by others?
Your leader has allegedly walloped RM2.6 billion, and his wife, step-son and associate Jho Low have allegedly squandered billions from 1MDB and have left Malaysians holding the bag.
Innocent people like Mongolian national Altantuya Shaariibuu, deputy public prosecutor Kevin Morais, political aide Teoh Beng Hock and AmBank founder Hussain Najadi have been killed mysteriously.
A number of key government officials have been summarily dismissed for wanting to reveal the truth.
Money has allegedly been squandered in a number of government-linked companies (GLCs) by ‘corrupt’ government politicians and officials. People have been jailed and tortured under various draconian laws for questioning your actions.
And you want to call another sovereign country a rogue nation?
RCZ: Umno should make a trip to Pyongyang. If nothing happens to them, is it because they will feel at home as they too allegedly do unimaginable things?
GE14Now!: Well, once upon a time allegedly ‘stealing’ RM2.6 billion was also unimaginable but it did happen here. Does that mean that we are as bad as North Korea then?
Aziz Kader: Minister, we must be professional in the investigation - a simple question from North Korea on how those handling the toxic substance are still alive but the victim died, is not answered by the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM).
Yes, this is Malaysia and we should follow the law, but make sure our investigation is sound and proper.
This case appears to be like a certain sodomy ‘victim’ who did not go to the toilet for two days just to hold the specimen for proof in an infamous sodomy case.
Kenneth_3486: Indeed, Malaysia is not much better either. Here, immigration records can be erased, people can die in an oil drum or blown up by using C4, and a healthy person can suffer a sudden heart attack, etc.
Pisasu 7: Yes, please advise Mongolians, especially ladies, not to come here. They could be blown up, and the culprit escape to Australia.
Maplesyrup: If North Korea is a rogue state, then why did Malaysia allow Pyongyang to open its embassy here and let North Korean airline Air Koryo to fly to KLIA?
KCNA: North Korea blames M'sia for Jong-nam's death
Hati Sakit Ku: Malaysia allowed itself to fall into this predicament by giving the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK or North Korea) special treatment and easy access to the country, for reasons best known to the Umno ruling elite.
Those frivolous comments from ministers condemning the communist regime are uncalled and premature. It takes two hands to clap.
When most civilised nations are shunning this ‘nutty’ regime, why is Malaysia so keen to kiss up to them?
Let's not think like angry maniacs throwing out wild comments and accusations. Let the truth emerge and justice be done.
Negarawan: Wisma Putra is best advised to recall all Malaysian staff from the embassy in North Korea for their personal safety.
At the same time, the movements of all North Koreans residing in Malaysia must be closely monitored. Security at airports must be enhanced. Remember Korean Air Flight 858.
Anonymous 2456791486709670: Malaysia needs to continue with the investigation and does not need to be influenced by pressure from North Korea.
Besides, Malaysia has the right to investigate criminal and murder cases which happened in this country.
Anonymous_1398751861: Has anybody cared to ask the question - 'How can this man have a North Korean diplomatic passport when he apparently has been on their death list for about 10 years?'
Tony Soprano: From the New York Times: "Unlike most countries, Malaysia allows North Koreans to enter without a visa and makes it relatively easy for them to work. North Koreans have established a number of businesses in Malaysia to export products to other parts of the world and earn foreign currency to send home."
What the heck?
Kamaapo: Only China has the leverage to make North Korea submit to international norms. But it won't.
Spinnot: Kamaapo, why don't you send your suggestions to the Chinese embassy in Kuala Lumpur on how China could "leverage to make this (rogue) nation submit to international norms"?
The North Korean regime can blame Malaysia for Kim Jong-nam's death but no one outside that country believes that nonsense.
Hati Sakit Ku: Now we have the 'twin rogue states'. Oh my, how matching, it fits like a glove. No one can dispute that in ‘telling untruths’, both these countries would have a photo-finish to decide the winner.
I never dreamt to see the day when Malaysia would encounter such a formidable challenger, you’ve made my day.
PM Najib Razak, you can take comfort that you’ve seemingly found your ‘perfect match’.
