Time to act to restore patriotism, says Rosmah's aide

Lamenting that politically-motivated individuals are sowing seeds of anti-patriotism among today's youths, an aide to Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's wife, has urged measures to uphold patriotism.

"Maybe it is time that we look again at how the matter is being handled. Patriotism is the most important element for the development of a nation," said Rizal Mansor in a statement today.

The current dearth in patriotism he said, is caused by some who jump the gun and point fingers at the government and security services whenever a security crisis occurs...
