An unexploded mortar bomb was found in the bushes of a public hall at Jalan Reko, Kajang.
The explosive was discovered by a resident at about 8.34am today, Bernama reported.
A picture uploaded by the newswire on Twitter showed a large portion of the torpedo-shaped item appeared rusty while the other portion was silver in colour.

Kajang district police chief Othman Nayan said the bomb was removed by the bomb disposal unit and disposed of at 11.39am at Kuari Batu Semenyih , with no casualties, The Star reported.
"The bomb found was identified as a UXO 60mm Illuminating mortar bomb," he said in a statement here today.
According to the Australian government Department of Defence fact sheet, a 60mm mortar is an explosive used from a high angle to support ground troops.
Australian troops used it in World War II, Korea and Vietnam while the United States uses 60mm mortar to this day, the fact sheet said.
