MP: Najib's silence on Trump over Paris Agreement deafening

An opposition MP has questioned Prime Minister Najib Razak's “deafening silence” over the US' withdrawal from the Paris climate change agreement, asking if it is related to the Department of Justice (DOJ) forfeiture suits.

On Thursday, President Donald Trump announced the withdrawal of the US from the agreement signed by 195 countries in 2015.

“Immediately, a number of world leaders responded by criticising Trump’s decision as well as to reaffirm their commitment to the Paris Agreement."
