Muhyiddin mum about Bersatu's proposal for Harapan leadership

Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) president Muhyiddin Yassin, who was rumoured to be up for the presidency of the Pakatan Harapan leadership, is mum about the supposed leak.

It was reported earlier that Bersatu purportedly intends to propose that its chairperson Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Muhyiddin be appointed Pakatan Harapan chairperson and president respectively, with former PKR leader Anwar Ibrahim as the adviser.

However, when met by reporters after the Harapan presidential council meeting today at the Bersatu headquarters, Muhyiddin declined to answer any questions.

"No comment. We have already discussed (in the meeting), you will have to ask the chairperson (Wan Azizah Wan Ismail)...
