Bersatu Youth sees civil strife brewing from within

Bersatu Youth exco member Mohd Ashraf Mustaqim Badrul Munir has taken aim at two other fellow exco members who apparently went rogue and attacked the party leadership.

Ashraf claimed that Muhammad Hafiz Azhar and Mohamad Taufik Abas rarely attended any Bersatu Youth exco meetings but the two suddenly emerged to launch a broadside on the party leaders.

"Taufik and Hafiz are not individuals who are committed to the party's struggle," he said in a statement yesterday.

Last Saturday, Hafiz held a press conference at which he questioned the wealth of Bersatu chairperson Dr Mahathir Mohamad's children as well as an alleged extramarital affair of party president Muhyiddin Yassin...
