Yoursay: No sense in casting PAS from Selangor now

YOURSAY | ‘PKR had a chance to sack them but didn’t, so stop whining.’

PAS should leave the current S'gor gov't, says state PKR Youth

Hp Looi: Selangor PKR Youth is only now voicing their stance on PAS? After so much skulduggery by PAS, even in the last election?

Remember GE13, when PAS, against the gentleman’s agreement of the PKR-PAS-DAP alliance, fielded independents in certain seats? Kota Damansara was gifted to Umno simply because of the PAS spoiler.

Or remember when PAS went against popular will during the Kajang move with PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail being rejected as the proposed menteri besar?

Does PKR have any coherent strategic plan? Or is the strategy just “on a wing and a prayer”?

Anonymous 19098644: It is time for Selangor PKR to wise up and face the facts. There is a Trojan horse in their midst. What is the worst case if PAS is no longer in the government? An election!

What difference does it make now with the 14th general election so close? At least the enemy is not lurking in your house, and you can fight the battle without worrying about your house being burned down from the inside.

PAS has never shown loyalty to the opposition after former spiritual leader Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat passed away.

Negaraku: PKR needed PAS when it wanted to form the Selangor government, and PAS has remained loyal (at least in Selangor). What they do in the next GE is their business, and does not affect the state government.

You had a chance to sack them, but you did not. So stop whining like helpless puppies, the government is good for next three to four months.

Rights For All: Selangor PKR Youth, don't step out of line. The leader of the cartel still wants PAS to help secure his post as menteri besar.

It’s hilarious how many more times PAS has to make its stand rejecting Harapan and PKR before the message gets through the thick skulls of Selangor MB Mohamed Azmin Ali and co.

Tekad: Azmin must feel indebted to PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang for his menteri besar’s post. Maybe he still intends to form the next Selangor government with PAS support, and is only paying lip service to de facto PKR leader Anwar Ibrahim.

Ronald: I just cannot fathom why Azmin is still harbouring the three “refugees” in his executive council.

If he continues with this posturing, he might one day encounter the proverbial maxim of “biting the hand that feeds you” by these three PAS state representatives. Let's hope not or he might also find himself out of a job.

Hank Marvin: The problem is Azmin, who gave PAS the space to do what they want because they were the ones who helped him to steal the MB’s post.

And don't expect PAS to leave, Azmin must give them the boot. Just like Nik Aziz in 1997, when he sacked Semangat 46 from Kelantan cabinet.

PKR must keep their house in order. Stop the ‘wayang’, the public know already. And that is why Azmin is terrified and doesn't know where to contest.

Don’t teach us how to oppose BN, PAS veep tells 'amateurs'

Anonymous 2436471476414726: PAS, when Tok Guru was still around, knew how to oppose BN. But after his demise, and with Hadi holding the reins, PAS only knows how to support the kleptomaniac.

PAS apparently have no problem with a leader who allegedly stole the rakyat's money. That is why they want to contest as many seats as possible, knowing that this would definitely help Umno win more seats.

In the unlikely event PAS win enough seats to take over Putrajaya, expect all development to stop. After all, according to PAS, the people are not ready for a fast pace of development.

Anonymous 44199885: PAS must not be very good at opposing Umno as they have always lost. Sixty years of continuously losing is not a credential that will inspire much confidence in the electorate.

Further, PAS treacherous moves in avoiding and not discussing the scandals involving 1MDB, Felda, abuse of power and corruption, and PAS’ strategy to help split the opposition votes is only clear evidence of their support of BN.

PAS had a clear choice to make as to who it will support for prime minister, and there are only two candidates. Yet instead of naming one, they are dithering and incomprehensibly leaving it to God.

This is a party whose only interests must either be financial benefit or the promise that their Islamisation agenda will be furthered. The latter is most unlikely, as it is against the ethos of BN.

Clever Voter: Anyone who professes to protect society using religion has to be a liar. Such a feudal mentality is not only incompatible with the real world, and if we have to rely on gods to drive our economic and social development, it is obviously illogical.

Actions and logic are based on common principles of market economies and responsibilities.

It would not be surprising to hear that if you are hungry that that is “God's wish.” Same way that it is “God’s wish” to see people happy and rich, but without caring if the wealth is stolen.

J Bond: So much ‘sandiwara’ (drama), we already know you’re there just to split the votes.

Anonymous 26191220: PAS vice-president Idris Ahmad is beating his chest again. Never has PAS been used to protect an undemocratic kleptomaniac, like what Hadi is doing now, so brazenly and with such self-righteous piety.
