Police release image of Indira’s ex-husband, say manhunt is on

Police have insisted that they have never ceased their search for Muhammad Riduan Abdullah, who has reportedly refused to return his daughter to his former wife, M Indira Gandhi.

Since Riduan was ordered to do so by the High Court in Ipoh four years ago, various measures have been taken to trace him, including asking members of the public to report sightings, Bukit Aman CID director Wan Ahmad Najmuddin Mohd said in a statement today.

Wan Ahmad also released an image of the suspect and reiterated the call from inspector-general of police Mohamad Fuzi Harun to members of the public not to speculate on the "sensitive" case, so as to not jeopardise public order...
