Johor ruler Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar's birthday celebration, which falls on Friday, March 23, has been postponed.

This was revealed in a brief statement by the president of the Johor Council of the Royal Court Abdul Rahim Ramli.

However, no reason for the postponement was provided.

Abdul Rahim said the postponement would not affect the public holiday on that date, and that a new date for the celebration would be set soon.
