Ali Hamsa's contract extended until 2020 by previous gov't - sources

EXCLUSIVE | Chief secretary to the federal government Ali Hamsa is unlikely to be stepping down this month as claimed by some recent news reports, because his contract had allegedly been extended by the previous administration in March.

Sources told Malaysiakini that Ali, whose current term ends when he turns 63 on Aug 29, had had his contract extended by two years, and is therefore only expected to retire in August 2020...
