The MACC has completed its probe into Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister Salahuddin Ayub's political aide over the possession of a luxury watch, says Latheefa Koya.
Speaking to Malaysiakini today, the MACC chief commissioner said the agency had submitted its investigation paper to the Attorney-General's Chambers earlier this month.
"With regard to the investigation involving the political secretary of the agriculture minister over a luxury watch, the MACC has completed its investigation and sent the papers for further action to the AGC on July 10 and is awaiting feedback," she said in a text message.
Latheefa was answering a query in relation to de facto law minister Liew Vui Keong claiming yesterday that MACC had cleared Salahuddin's political secretary Ahmad Sabki Yusof of wrongdoing.

Liew had told reporters that the aide had bought the watch.
However, Malaysiakini sighted a letter by Sabki saying that the watch was a gift.
In the letter to Governance, Integrity and Anti-Corruption Centre (GIACC) chief Abu Kassim Mohamed, Sabki had complained that the ministry's integrity unit was unfair to him after he submitted a declaration on July 25, 2018, about receiving the watch as a present.
Latheefa, however, declined to comment further when asked to confirm which version was true.
"We can’t comment further, we have completed the investigation and sent the papers," she said.
