Amanah believes Dr M and Harapan will again join forces to take on PN
Amanah leaders believe that former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Pakatan Harapan will once again join forces to take on the new Perikatan Nasional government.
This is after top Amanah leaders met with the Bersatu chairperson for around an hour in Putrajaya today.
The Amanah delegation comprised Amanah president Mohamad Sabu, deputy president Salahuddin Ayub and vice presidents Mahfuz Omar, Muhajid Yusof Rawa and Husam Musa.
Also present during the meeting was Bersatu secretary-general Marzuki Yahya....

This is after top Amanah leaders met with the Bersatu chairperson for around an hour in Putrajaya today.
The Amanah delegation comprised Amanah president Mohamad Sabu, deputy president Salahuddin Ayub and vice presidents Mahfuz Omar, Muhajid Yusof Rawa and Husam Musa.
Also present during the meeting was Bersatu secretary-general Marzuki Yahya.
Mahfuz said Mahathir had during the meeting agreed to join forces with Harapan.
"We had a heart-to-heart talk. In the end, the consensus was for all to come together - Harapan and Mahathir's group - to once again save Malaysia from the government of traitors and kleptocrats controlled by the kleptocratic Umno and BN," he said in a Facebook posting.
Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin had taken his party out of Harapan and joined forces with PKR defectors, BN, PAS and GPS to form the new PN government.
Mahathir, who is adamant that Bersatu should not work with Umno, whose leaders are facing graft charges, has refused to back Muhyiddin's move, setting the table for a split in Bersatu.
Harapan last night summoned all of their elected representatives for a meeting where leaders explained the collapse of the Harapan government and the coalition's future direction.
However, Mahathir was notably absent. His repeated blaming of PKR president Anwar Ibrahim for his failure to form the new government had also raised questions about his relationship with Harapan.
Prior to Bersatu being taken out of Harapan by Muhyiddin against Mahathir's will, the latter was also the Pakatan Harapan chairperson.
