Putrajaya sets up food distribution centres, wants NGOs to restrict movement

CORONAVIRUS | Defence Minister Ismail Sabri said the government appreciates efforts by NGOs in distributing food to the needy during the Movement Control Order (MCO) but wants them to limit their movement so as not to risk spreading Covid-19.

As such, he said the government will be setting up food distribution centres which will enable NGOs to deliver food there instead of going house-to-house.
