Gerakan decided to support the leadership of Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin after "looking at the big picture" with regards to the nation, said its president Dominic Lau.

Speaking during an online press conference this morning, Lau said that Gerakan wanted to ensure the stability of the government as the country was facing a trying time due to the Covid-19 pandemic and an economic recession.
