Shafie as PM can rebuild racial harmony in M'sia - Sarawak DAP

Sarawak DAP chief Chong Chieng Jen believed that installing Sabah chief minister Shafie Apdal as prime minister could help repair race relations in the country.

"Shafie has shown (himself) to be a leader who truly promotes religious freedom and racial harmony, unlike many of the West Malaysian politicians, especially those from Umno and PAS, who have the tendency to pander to racism and religion to gain political support," said Chong.
