ProtectHealth investigates after woman gets unsolicited message from PPV doctor

ProtectHealth Sdn Bhd said it has launched an investigation after a woman claimed the doctor who performed her medical consultation prior her Covid-19 vaccine injection had sent her unsolicited messages.
“Imagine getting vaccinated and needing to worry about the doctor getting your personal information,” the woman lamented on Twitter today.
According to the screenshot she included in her post, the message read, “Hopefully you are okay after the jab.
“Sorry to take your number without permission, just wanted to make sure everything is okay after the jab.”
The sender of the message signed off as “Doctor Station 3”.
The woman did not mention when or where she got her vaccination, but directed her complaints to the Special Committee on Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV) and its co-chairperson Khairy Jamaluddin.
In response, ProtectHealth responded to her tweet by publicly asking her to give them more information about the incident.
“We are investigating this,” said ProtectHealth through its official Twitter handle. ProtectHealth is a government-linked company under the Health Ministry.
It is tasked with coordinating the private healthcare sector’s involvement in the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.

The news portal has also contacted ProtectHealth and the JKJAV for a response to her allegations.
