S'gor sultan buys painting of Parliament full of monkeys, apes, frogs
Selangor ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah has purchased a painting that depicts MPs as monkeys, apes, and frogs.

In the Malaysian painting, Dewan Rakyat speaker Azhar Azizan Harun and two officers are depicted as humans.
However, politicians on both sides of the aisle are illustrated as various primates including chimpanzees, orangutans, mandrills, proboscis monkeys, and macaques.
Many of the simians are shouting at each other - a common criticism hurled at unruly MPs in the Dewan Rakyat.
Among the monkeys and apes, are also frogs of various colours.
It is unclear who the painter behind the artwork is.
The Selangor palace in a Facebook post said that Sultan Sharafuddin immediately wanted to buy the painting upon seeing it.
It will be hung in his private study, and the palace said the monarch hopes to one day auction the piece to raise funds for charity work.
