COVID-19 | The Health Ministry reported 1,576 new daily Covid-19 cases yesterday.

Active cases currently stood at 21,800, down 19.3 percent compared to 14 days ago.

New cases according to states are as follows:

Sarawak (79)

Negeri Sembilan (37)

Another 3 deaths attributed to Covid-19 were reported yesterday, of which 2 were declared as "brought in dead".

Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, a total of 36,716 deaths have been attributed to Covid-19.

There were 209 deaths last month and 101 deaths in October.

There are 1,504 Covid-19 patients who are hospitalised of which 98 are in intensive care.

The highest number of admissions yesterday was recorded in Selangor (97) followed by Sabah (76) and Johor (38).
