Sabah scandal: MACC quizzes whistleblower for more than 5 hours
The businessperson who revealed the damning videos and WhatsApp messages of Sabah assemblypersons was questioned for more than five hours at the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya.

He told Malaysiakini that the session started at 11.30am and ended at 5pm. His lawyer, Mahajoth Singh, was present throughout the session.
“Everything went well. I have been called again for questioning,” he added.
The 36-year-old businessperson has alleged that he had bribed several assemblypersons in exchange for mineral exploration licences.
On Monday, the businessperson released his ninth video featuring Sabah legislative assembly speaker Kadzim Yahya.
Kadzim has denied any knowledge of the RM350,000 mentioned in the video. The speaker said that he had only borrowed RM50,000 from the businessperson.
Sabah Chief Minister Hajiji Noor has accused the businessperson of colluding with those with vested interests to undermine his government.
It was also suggested that the businessperson is part of a cartel seeking to monopolise mining in the state and resorted to fraudulent means to achieve this objective.
On Wednesday, rights group Lawyers for Liberty (LFL) submitted the full, unedited videos to MACC after its chief commissioner Azam Baki said the edited videos published by Malaysiakini could not be used as evidence.
During a press conference, former MACC chief commissioner Latheefa Koya, who is a co-founder of LFL, said that an influential figure had discouraged the businessperson from lodging a report.
