Muslims in Malaysia will celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri tomorrow (March 31).
Keeper of the Ruler’s Seal Syed Danial Syed Ahmad made the announcement in a statement.
“In following the decree by His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, after consent from the Malay rulers, I hereby declare the date for Aidilfitri for all the states in Malaysia is Monday, March 31, 2025,” he said.
The announcement followed an attempt to sight the new moon after sunset this evening.
The exercise was carried out in 29 locations nationwide.
