The MCMC has imposed an RM100,000 fine each on local media outlets Sin Chew Media Corporation Berhad and Sinar Karangkraf Sdn Bhd following the Attorney-General’s Chambers’ authorisation.

In a statement today, the MCMC said an investigation was launched after Sin Chew Daily allegedly uploaded an incomplete display of the Jalur Gemilang on its website.
