Subang MP Wong Chen today urged the government to increase the proposed allocation for all 10 parliamentary special select committees (PSSCs) from the RM500,000 each as Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced under Budget 2026.

Wong, as head of the Parliamentary Special Select Committee on International Affairs and Security, instead proposed a sum of RM2 million each - from a total RM220 million allocated for Parliament operations next year.
