ACA report: What'll happen to PM, DPM?

your say Let us all guess what is going to happen to the PM and DPM.- will the ACA will find ‘no evidence' and case be closed?

On ACA report against Abdullah, Najib

Meng: Wow, amazing there are still principled people left in Umno.

This latest ACA report by Mazlan Harun shows that there are still people in Umno who have some sense of what is right and wrong.

Apart from that he is not fearful to speak out for what is right. This to me is quite amazing. Maybe he is a very rare breed and perhaps the only one left in Umno, or even the BN.

In the days of Mahathir, he would have been arrested, beaten up and charged for some ridiculous crime.

Let us all guess what is going to happen to the PM and DPM.- will the ACA will find no evidence and case be closed?

Isn't this justice a la Malaysia? The blindfold keeps slipping off Lady Justice!

On Abdullah unperturbed by drop in popularity

Prof JB: As long as the PM and the DPM try to run away from admitting the truth, it's pretty obvious that they will look for any kind of distraction to be evasive.

What happens? The rakyat become the passive victims of whatever is said and done

The change of events is shifting like the sifting sands.

If the top leaders cannot uphold a principle of truth, the rakyat will have no option but to face the destructive sequence of actions and reactions.

Please grow up, Mr PM.

On Students give Pak Lah tough time

Barbara: We have a PM that is obviously sleepwalking.

And to the credit of these student leaders, they were sharp and asked all the pertinent questions.

Thumbs up for the students, please show the PM to the door!

On Hindraf to 'bombard' PM, MB's open house

Sitha: I like it and I like it! Wow, now I have a reason to visit the PM's house for Hari Raya and I am starting to count down already.

Well, will he will welcome us? With a smile. I hope.

On Pmtg Pauh: 'Let Saiful be BN's candidate'

Daniel Tan Yee Hui: The notion of Saiful contesting against Anwar as a means of proving or disproving Anwar's innocence via a public referendum is laughable, if not contrary to everything we Malaysiakini readers have been vouching for.

Yes, democracy is important, but due process of the law is just as important - the symbiotic process of forming governments as well as keeping them in check must be maintained.

To allow ourselves to be sucked into this whole ruckus and determine Anwar's innocence just by public opinion is an insult to our intelligence.

If Anwar is to be declared innocent, it shall be through due process of the law, no matter how laughable this process may be.

Augustine:

BN say that they are the underdog for the Permatang Pauh by-election.

Let's hope they introduce Saiful to contest against Anwar Ibrahim. This young boy could reveal and counterattack Anwar on how the sodomy took place.

Only then the rakyat can judge whether he is telling the truth, as there is no point swearing on the Quran.

The truth will prevail if he is allowed to contest. Don't be just a hero behind police protection.

On Anwar braces for 'massive' vote-rigging

LYK:

May I suggest all the voters use a pen to mark their votes instead of the pencils provided by the Election Commission so that the votes cannot be changed later in any vote-rigging exercise.

YCS:

I have always been following Malaysia's political news closely and to be frank with you, previously I was anti-DSAI and a pro Dr M.

But with all the government corruption, non-transparency, inflation, wide disparity, a high profile murder case, misuse and abuse of public funds and arrogant and outright lies by ministers etc, it made me really frustrated.

I cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel, can you? We have seen Abdullah and Najib and how they manage our country.

If they continue what I can foresee is that all their cronies will continue to enrich themselves.

Their personal self-interest will be their top priority. Not the rakyat 's. What can make a change?

Only reformation and a new government, right? The price to pay may be big and risky but for the long-term it might be the only alternative we have.

So the only hope we can hang on to is DSAI and so let us give him a chance. I think is worth taking the risk.

On Nurul Izzah: I cannot please everybody...

Rebecca Gaythri: Nurul, if you can think like the Americans, where there is no race barrier, then our country will be respected and prosper very fast.

Now, under BN, the Indians and Chinese are being ‘brain drained' as the Americans want the world's best brains.

If you can think of the the future of our new generations, you will be our prime minister of malaysia. God bless you.

On Rafidah sets retirement deadline

Millionth Citizen: Rafidah retiring? Why now? How come? Is she getting worried about the imminent return of Anwar Ibrahim?

She has been very noticeably silent since the 12th GE, even as an MP. Is she worried that she will be the first target in the August house by DSAI?

All this time, has she been cleaning up her act, removing traces and getting ready to bolt?

Like millions of others, I'd like to see her brought to court to answer for all the alleged crimes she and her cronies have allegedly committed.
