Chinese voters 'unperturbed' by hudud

A controversial PAS call to reintroduce 'hudud' Islamic law, including the amputation of hands for thieves, has been played up by MCA in the run-up to the tomorrow's Kuala Terengganu by-election.

However, a survey by the Merdeka Centre research firm found that only 18 percent of Chinese voters in the constituency saw the issue as "very important".
