Kugan's body 'tampered with' charge hardly gels

your say ‘Someone in the crowd must have brought along an electric iron then asked the hospital staff to allow him/her to plug it in to an electrical outlet before applying it to A Kugan's body'.

On Kugan's death a reminder of systemic weaknesses

Hillarious: Dr Mohd Norzi Ghazali must be kidding when he said that Kugan's body was ‘tampered with' by the people who went to the morgue.

Someone in the crowd must have brought along an electric iron (the V-shape marks found on Kugan's body) and then asked the hospital staff to allow him/her to plug it in to an electrical outlet and have it heated up.

With all the people present, including the hospital staff, he/she then proceed to make the V-shape marks on Kugan's body. Are we watching ‘The Three Stooges' or what?

M Raken: .This awareness created on Kugan's death is a call to all Malaysians that if we do not use our power at the ballot paper, we should not be surprised at getting even more worse treatment in the future.

Malaysians must awake to the calls of crimes against humanity no matter from where they emerge from otherwise we may lose all that we have.

It will be like a tsunami or a wild bushfire ravaging one and all. So please wake up or come down from your ivory towers to participate in action against social ills and violence in this country.

Michael: I am totally upset and disappointed with how the police treated A Kugan while in police custody. This shouldn't be happening in Malaysia.

Those involved in this inhumanity have to be brought to justice.

Richard: As I suspected, the Serdang Hospital Hosp is ISO 9001:2000 certified by Sirim.

In theory, the Serdang Hosp, by virtue of its ISO 9001 implementation, has to transparently provide Kugan's family with what went wrong.

In reality, this ISO 9001 reporting on what went wrong and how to correct it and whether the correction was effective, will have to be fought in the courts.

Yes, Sirim-QAS has to worry because it's involved with the above certification.

Clarification: Sirim QAS has never certified Serdang Hospital

Peter: After all the fuss and publicity about Kugan and Prabakar, why isn't there any news about Prabakar's 18-year-old cousin, C Soloman Raj, who was arrested at the same time as Prabakar, and who also claims that he was tortured.

Where is Soloman? Is he still in police custody? Why isn't there any news on the whereabouts of Soloman?

Christopher Kenneth Birch: As an expatriate living in Malaysia, I cannot help but feel appalled with the Kugan case which has been making headlines within Malaysia of a late.

Therefore, I would like to ask these questions and they need answers right now.

Why is the local police force doing nothing at all in response to the case of Kugan's death? Where is the justice that Kugan's loved ones are looking for right now?

What kind of image is the Malaysian police force projecting to its fellow citizens and its international policing counterparts?

Coming from having spent my years in United Kingdom and Europe, any police officer, be he a high-ranking officer or an ordinary constable, will automatically resign from his position once the scandal comes out in the open.

I think the IGP and the policemen involved in the Kugan case should resign right now as a way to admit their mistake.

Malaysia does not need bad police officers to continue serving when the Kugan scandal has done enough to taint the good name of the police force.

This country needs to thrive on law and order and not lawlessness. Unless this problem is dealt with, Malaysians are going to suffer in the future.

I hope justice shall not only be served on behalf of Kugan's loved ones but that such a scandal will not repeat itself in the future. Malaysia does not need another Kugan scandal to deal with when it comes to 'rotten' cops in the force.

Bernard: I am disgusted that there is no truth and fairness in the Malaysian justice system.

This is a grave systemic problem and it seems that there is not one person in BN who will shout out loudly against the continued suppression of equal and just rights for everybody. God help us all.

On Independent probe into two autopsy reports on Kugan

Raja: Does the health ministry really need an independent pathologist's expert opinion? Why waste taxpayers' money further>

It seems like Ismail Merican is trying to protect the Serdang Hospital and the pathologist.

How come he is now saying that the Serdang Hospital's postmortem report is more detailed than the UMMC's?

Where were you and the Serdang Hospital's ‘detailed report' when Kugan's family asked for a second post-mortem to be done? Where was this ‘detailed report' then?

If I am not mistaken, initially there wasn't any police report made against the police and the Serdang Hospital by Kugan's family.

What is the purpose of the Serdang Hospital keeping a ‘detailed report' for the courts when the is no court case against them? Please grow up...
