Jailed PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim managed to speak to the press during a court hearing, prompting the Prisons Department to clarify that this was not intentionally accorded to him.

On Dec 14, the Federal Court will decide on Anwar's application to review a previous ruling which sentenced him to five years in jail for sodomising his former aide Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan.
