KINILENS | During the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, it is a common sight for people to bring their own food and mats to a suitable spot, wait for the call to prayer, and then enjoy their breaking fast meal while spending time with family and friends.
In Kuala Lumpur, members of the public can be seen breaking their fast around Dataran Merdeka especially on weekends as it allows them to continue shopping for Eid goods at night.
It is a celebration of community, and it provides an opportunity for people from all walks of life to come together and share a meal.
