I read all the comments and name-calling in response to my article 'Islam, Homosexuality and the West's Guilt' .

I must say that I am somewhat flattered to see such attention, and as a Muslim, I can only conclude that I must have said many things right to warrant such Islamophobic reactions that so characterise a group of your readers.

I also read with interest an article by Ahmad Fuad Rahmat, 'Let's have a more productive debate' .

To be fair, I think this article is better than the ones written earlier by those Muslims who seem to defend the argument that homosexuals need to express themselves in public.

Perhaps my complaint of an overdose of western philosophers' quotes found did not fall on deaf ears after all.

Having said that, I must say that many missed the basic premise of my argument. It seems we are still unable to have a discourse without being stuck in a Western historical experience, and using terminology which fall flat when applied to our own historical experience.

Terminology is important in identifying the pattern of the discourse. This is also why I pointed out the media parlance for the homosexuals.

Remember, I have always referred to 'homosexuals', and not the so-called LGBT. I feel lumping together the 'LGB' to the 'T' is quite unfair to the latter. Transgender is not a deviant sexual habit, but is natural and has cultural, nay, biological traits. Not so the case with LGB, however you argue to justify that such a sexual habit cannot be helped and as such their followers must be accorded with "sexual rights".

Well, if sexual habits is to be celebrated, then why not lump those who practise incest and bestiality in the ever expanding abbreviation. After all, they, too, have rights. It's not criminal, especially if daddy and daughter are two consulting adults. So one can't help but notice that one writer actually added the abbreviation for 'Queer' tp join this cruel term called 'LGBT', making it 'LGBTQ'.

One might as well add more: LGBTQIB, to include incest and bestiality lovers.

Don't forget solo sex too. So make it LGBTQIBM.

Ah, and who can forget the adorable paedophiles (P), who love children more than you and I and whose method of expressing the love is different than most adults?

Then again, if one is to argue that sexual habit is not the only consideration, then one can also include Malaysia's latest sex 'jihadists' represented by the tudung-bulat clad members of the Obedient Wives Club.

Oh yes, group sex is in and carries a halal logo too.

And while we're on it, don't forget wife swappers and wife beaters. Studies show some of these wife beating traits among men have been inherited and psychologically steeped in sexuality.

Sometimes, married couples cannot survive without domestic violence.

The list can go so long, that pretty soon one will be branded an enemy of human rights if one does not stand up for the rights of the oppressed and discriminated LGBTQIBMPG.

I also stand by my theory that this LGBT thing has assumed a monstrous proportion as the Zionist lobby, and may I also add the ultra-feminist lobby. I don't see what data you need to prove the theory, other than the fact that all three have the medieval Christian-endorsed (note Christian-endorsed, not Christianity endorsed) West's atrocities painted over them.

All three have exploited the West's psyche and now these issues undergo a radical self-punishment-cum-corrective method. In short, it is all within the Western socio-religio-political experience, using terminology that can only relate to their past.

There is always a thin line between self-blaming Muslim apologists and true scholars who give an honest diagnosis of the Muslim community.

On the other end of the spectrum lie those who are against anything Western and anything to do with human rights (not due to knowledge, but due to ignorance), and who subscribe to so-called Eastern values for which we all know are only mythical.

In our own unique case, this includes people like Zulkifli Nordin, the Kulim MP, (who by the way had been posting pictures of animal sex on his blog).

I have never been interested in gay sex, however intellectual the icing is.

If one thinks LGBTQIBMPG (feel free to add the letters) are the only sexual communities discriminated against, think again. It's a sex jungle out there, and the inhabitants in it used to enjoy their respective habits peacefully.

Nobody is telling to treat them as second class. Nobody telling to hunt them down and castrate them, or deny them food, water (not even sex), or deny them voting rights or right to 'cari makan'.

All we are saying is this: leave those chums alone. Ask ourselves this question: would you want your daughter or son to be practising gay sex, and if they do, would you one him/her to loudly proclaim their 'kemerdekaan seksualiti' (sexual freedom) and jump in the air (like what the Seksualiti Merdeka poster depicts)?

Honestly ask ourselves, before we push this section of community into asserting their rights in the manner dictated by the non-homosexual human rights bandwagon.

As the saying goes, those who do not learn from history...
