To: MCA central committee
As a MCA member I have great concern about the new May 13 movie. Please ban this movie before it's too late, because the movie doesn’t reflect the actual story of May 13, 1969.
If this movie is shown to the public, I am certain that the feelings of the older generation will be badly hurt, especially those whose family members were killed during May 13 clashes.
This movie will impact the younger generation and may cause disunity and misunderstanding (amongst them), some may even (be incited) to take revenge.
Can we take for granted that this movie is just entertainment or a documentary? Why take the risk of creating racial tension? Please act before it is too late.
