I write in response to the column, Spreading through word of mouse .

I was once an abuse victim of our fearful police force. Nineteen years ago, when I was only 14, I was stopped by a patrol car while cycling back to my home one night after dinner. Two policemen, one Chinese with spectacles and another Malay came out of the car. They pulled me to the roadside behind their car and one of them started to grab me and accused me of being involved in gangsterism.

I was really frightened and felt helpless when the policeman started 'playing' with my private parts with his hand. The other police officer acted as a look-out. They sexually abused me and let me go after they had derived pleasure from their shameful act.

I always wonder whether they are still performing such acts on some innocent kids out there. Since then I have lost all hope and respect for these so-called "protector" of our society. How many others have fallen prey to these animals and dare not voice their grievances?

I admire those who recently stood up against these legally armed thugs of our society. However, I would advise readers not to have too much hope for a favourable outcome. After my incident, whenever there are news or rumours on shameful and inhumane conduct involving the police, I would not have a second thought in doubting their credibility.

I really wish that our honourable PM can act firmly to clean up the police force, as he had promised, before they get totally out of control.
