I refer the malaysiakini report Gerak to name 'corrupt' minister if PM fails to act .

Disclosure after disclosure, denial after denial, cover-up after cover-up. When will all this end? Isn't it disgusting and nauseating? Are we not getting bored?

Our once harmonious and peaceful country has been very badly tarnished by such acts. The waves of bribery, embezzlement and corruption have swept right into the core of practically every machinery in our nation (the judiciary, the executive, the lawmakers, the enforcers, you name it) with no sign of subsiding.

Yet the leaders (some of whom are destined to be above the law) continue to immerse themselves in the false glory of half-a-century of progress, portraying at the same time ugly faces masked with the ringgit sign.

If those people elected to take charge of the nation repeatedly fail to rectify a decadent situation, what can the pathetic public do? Demonstrate? No, it is illegal. Show our frustration via the box? No point, as the manipulation of constituency boundaries has already guaranteed that we would not get enough parliamentary seats to voice our anger.

And mind you, never raise the word 'democracy', its interpretation in this count depends on who is using it. In fact, its real meaning here is virtually dead.

Quit the country? Not really, many just do not have the means. Stay on and bear with all shattering blows? Well, maybe this seems to be the only option until the day of reckoning. How preposterous, how deflating!

It is high time to wake up, Malaysia. Already 50, how much time left?
