Selangor PAS Youth has expressed it disappointment with several senior state PKR leaders for making what it described as baseless statements that threatened to destroy the harmony of Pakatan Rakyat components in the state and create a bad public perception post GE13.

NONE "We ask that PKR deputy president Azmin Ali, Wanita chief Zuraida Kamaruddin ( left ) and state leadership council member Shuhaimi Shafiei to reflect and realize the actual composition of the state seats before jumping to Umno's tune in this matter," said the movement's deputy chief Sany Hamzan.

"We view Azmin, Zuraida and Shuhaimi's statement stressing that the Selangor MB seat is PKR's permanent seat as akin to a greedy lout that has forgotten his or her place and self worth."

Sany, in a statement, said that Selangor PKR must not delude themselves into thinking that they have more seats in the state assembly then PAS or DAP.

PKR has 14 seats in the Selangor legislative assembly, while DAP and PAS have 15 each.

He reminded all that there is no standing arrangement among Pakatan parties that guarantees the MB-ship will go to PKR if the coalition retains the state.

NONE However, he stressed that Selangor PAS Youth will respect, support and abide by whatever decision the state Pakatan leadership comes up with, expressing hope that the matter will be resolved as soon as possible.

Yesterday, Azmin and supporters in the PKR made caustic comments in the media on the choice of MB for Selangor, telling off PAS and DAP not to interfere in what is an internal PKR matter to decide the MB candidate for the seat that they believe is reserved for their party.

PAS and DAP have openly backed incumbent MB Khalid Ibrahim ( above ) to return to office, though reports say that Azmin has other ideas, he has designs on the office himself.
