As MH370 continues to elude the massive round-the-clock search and rescue mission involving numerous nations, supernatural elements are coming into the picture.

Apart from the theories of extra-terrestrial involvement and the plane having flown through a portal into another dimension, there was also a bomoh (shaman) who stole the limelight when he claimed that the aircraft is in the hands of those from the spirit world.

And now, a video on Emmanuel TV's  YouTube channel has emerged claiming that a Nigerian preacher and evangelist TB Joshua had predicted the incident during one of his sermons last year.

Uploaded under the heading, 'The Malaysian Airlines Prophecy', the video showed the Christian minister addressing a huge congregation.

Among others, he said that God had given him a vision of an airplane from an Asian country carrying 200 people running into trouble.

“We have to pray... This is an Asian country. I will not mention which country. But God showed me the country,” he added.

Impatience

According to Joshua, the “fault” with the plane started as soon as it was about to take off.

He said the problem could be discovered on the “tarmac” (runway) but this was not the case due to “impatience”.

Joshua then said that with God’s grace, he would send a letter to the country’s embassy, telling its officials to check their planes.

“What happened here is the fault of impatience because there are many things that they need to look into before take off,” he added.

The 4.14-minute video, viewed more than 200,000 times, also featured a CNN news report regarding the disappearance of the Boeing 777, which was enroute to Beijing from Kuala Lumpur.

The flight, with 239 people on board, had been missing since early Saturday morning.

TB Joshua's video has attracted some media attention, although Yahoo! South Africa  pointed out that Emmanuel TV had made similar claims about the preachers in the past.

In 2011, Emmanuel TV had claimed that a TB Joshua video clip had predicted a plane crash in Aceh, Indonesia. The same video clip was later used to claim that he predicted a plane crash in Mount Salak, West Java in 2012.
