Road Transport Department (RTD) counter transactions in all states have been disrupted since 4.30pm yesterday, as a result of problems at its data centre in Cyberjaya.

 

RTD in a statement today said as a result of development work around it, there was water leakage.

 

This  affected the supply of chilled water for cooling its mainframe computer system room, leading to a sudden rise in temperature. 

 

RTD then had to stop operations for the time being to prevent bigger problems to the system. It apologised for the disruption.
