Despite being jailed five years for sodomy, PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim is expected to make a public appearance at the High Court in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday, exactly a week after yesterday's controversial verdict.

This was confirmed with Malaysiakini today by his lawyer J Leela.

Anwar will be brought to testify in his RM100 million defamation suit against Foreign Minister Anifah Aman.
