Muhammad Shafee Abdullah has denied embellishing evidence on the sodomy case involving Anwar Ibrahim, saying that he does not, as a senior lawyer, commit such errors.

The Sodomy II prosecutor insisted that the portion about the opposition leader "pinching" complainant Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan’s nipples is mentioned in the Kuala Lumpur High Court judgment.
