Hadi: 'Pakatans' come and go, but PAS always lives on
Opposition coalitions have come and gone but PAS has continued to rise through history, said its president Abdul Hadi Awang.

"Coalitions (pakatan) are nothing new. There is Pakatan Harapan and other 'pakatan' since 60 years ago, and some have collapsed.
"Some have collapsed completely and never recovered, but we continue to rise," he said at a press conference after officiating the Selangor PAS elections in Kuala Selangor today.
His comments come after Harapan had sealed the coalition formally yesterday at their leadership summit in Shah Alam, minus the presence of previous Pakatan Rakyat partner, PAS.
Pakatan Rakyat fell apart after PAS' muktamar last year after a resolution breaking ties with coalition partner DAP was accepted.
Following the party polls that saw PAS' progressives obliterated from the top leadership, the latter left to form Parti Amanah Negara.
At the Selangor PAS elections today, Selangor PAS commissioner Iskandar Abdul Samad said Amanah is the " new enemy " after Umno, that PAS will take on in the next general election.
