Malaysia's largest Mobile Virtual Network (MVNO) operator, redONE Network Sdn Bhd (redONE) launched its latest postpaid plan, redONE MyCARE50U which includes a free takaful coverage plan.
redONE's Chief Sales Officer, Ben Teh, said that redONE collaborated with Hong Leong MSIG Takaful Berhad to introduce the exclusive postpaid plan. The MyCARE50U plan is offered to all redONE users at a reasonable cost of RM50 per month.
On top of that, the postpaid plan provides unlimited data at 3Mbps, 10GB of high speed data and unlimited calls to all networks as well as a takaful package with a coverage of up to RM10,000.
"Customers will remain covered under Hong Leong MSIG Takaful coverage as long as they stay connected with the unlimited data and calls under the redONE My CARE50U Postpaid Plan," he said during the official signing ceremony at redONE corporate headquarters.
The event was also graced by redONE CEO Farid Yunus, Hong Leong MSIG Takaful CEO Mohd Asri Omar, and Hong Leong MSIG Takaful Chief Sales Officer Yassir Azlin Abdul Ghafar.

Ben also further commented that the partnership established between redONE and Hong Leong MSIG Takaful is a memorable event as both companies have excellent resources and potential to be developed.

A Comprehensive Takaful Coverage
Meanwhile, Hong Leong MSIG Takaful CEO Mohd Asri said, under the package, consumers will receive a takaful coverage of RM 20,000 in the event of accidental death, total and permanent disability while RM 10,000 takaful benefit will be received in the event of death and permanent disability due to natural cause. This plan also covers for partial permanent disablement, accelerated critical illness and funeral expenses.
"This is a very comprehensive coverage for customers under the redONE MyCARE50U postpaid plan," he said.

Upon registration, the Takaful protection will commence one month after the date of MyCare50U’s activation. The minimum length of service contract of the plan is 12 months and each subscriber is only entitled to one Takaful package as the certificate is tagged to a subscriber’s NRIC.
