Imperium International College proudly hosted its 3rd Convocation Ceremony, honouring the graduating classes of 2024 and 2025 in a grand celebration of academic excellence, perseverance and success which took place at the Nexus Connexion Conference & Event Centre, Bangsar South City.

The ceremony was graced by Tunku Dato’ Yaacob Khyra, Chairman of Imperium International College; Ms. Anne Rajasaikaran, President and Chief Executive Officer of Imperium International College; Tunku Dato’ Seri (Dr) Iskandar, Member of the Board of Governors, St. John’s International Secondary School; and Datin Seri Maneesah, Member of the Board of Governors, St. John’s International Primary School. The event was also attended by graduates and their families from around the world.

The event marked a significant milestone for graduates who have demonstrated remarkable dedication, resilience and hard work throughout their academic journeys. Graduates from their offered courses ACCA, Certificate, Foundation, Diploma and Bachelor’s programmes were recognised for their achievements, with special acknowledgment given to those who earned First-Class Honours.

In his address, Tunku Dato’ Yaacob Khyra, Chairman of Imperium International College, commended the graduates for their passion and determination.

“As I look at your eager faces, my confidence increases. In your eyes, I see passion. I notice the glimmer of hope and unrestrained idealism,” he said. “I perceive resilience and adaptability within you. These are qualities that you have already acquired, yet these are characteristics that are still quite rare in this world and is most desperately in need of.”

Ms. Anne Rajasaikaran, President and Chief Executive Officer of Imperium International College, also shared an inspiring message with the graduates:

“We are a community united by our shared commitment to seek knowledge, to attain wisdom and to serve society under our motto, ‘Sapientia Est Imperium,’ or Wisdom is Power. This is a community made up of extraordinary individuals who dare to take risks instead of resting on past successes.”

A highlight of the event was the presentation of the Khyra Eminence Award 2025 to Mr. Kingston Lee Yu Le, in recognition of his exceptional academic achievements and exemplary performance across multiple disciplines. His unwavering commitment to excellence stands as a model for his peers and future graduates.

During his speech, Mr. Kingston reflected on his time as a student, sharing his experiences of balancing part-time work with his studies. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to his parents, lecturers and friends for their constant support and encouragement. He also reminded his peers to remain open to new experiences and to explore paths beyond their comfort zones.

The 3rd Convocation Ceremony of Imperium International College not only celebrated academic milestones but also reaffirmed the institution’s dedication to nurturing empowered, adaptable and globally-minded individuals ready to make meaningful contributions to society.
