Edumaax Education Group organised a potluck event at the centre of the building, its very own cafeteria, Third Degree Restaurant. There is indeed something personal and more meaningful about doing a potluck, where each department brings food or drink, and then later sharing everything as a community.
This is the community culture that Edumaax strives for and would like to implement in its company, especially during Christmas, when everything is about giving out joy, love and gratitude to everyone.
In addition to the potluck, the company also held a charity drive. The management prepared a donation table for anyone who would like to contribute. Edumaax believes that all children deserve a high-quality education, as they are the generation that will one day lead the future. However, for children to receive a quality education, they need to have a great support system and sufficient basic needs. It is the adult's responsibility to help lift the children.
Like the organisation, Edumaax staff also believe in this mission. Many of them came and supported the charity drive. Some donated clothes and canned food. There was also stationery, as well as toys for the children. After the event ended, Edumaax sent these thoughtful gifts to Budimas Orion Home, located in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. For many years, Edumaax has been serious and continues to support the incredible work that Budimas does.
There truly is nothing more valuable than seeing the precious and happy smiles of children receiving gifts and the realisation that there are people out there – strangers – who care about their wellbeing.
Budimas helps children aged 4 to 17. Visit their website at https://www.budimas.org/donation/ if you would like to support the children's journey, or scan the QR code below to make donations!
