Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC), commercial new energy arm SEDC Energy (SEDCE), has received public tip offs regarding unauthorised parties claiming to represent SEDCE and canvassing business opportunities for PETROS Multifuel Station (MFS).

SEDCE wishes to clarify that it has not appointed any third party, agent or intermediary to represent, solicit or conduct business on its behalf in relation to the PETROS MFS initiative.

SEDCE has also been made aware of a presentation deck relating to PETROS MFS that is being circulated and/or presented as an official SEDCE document. The presentation deck was not created, issued, approved, endorsed or authorised by SEDCE.

Accordingly, SEDCE urges members of the public, investors and prospective business partners not to rely on, respond to or act upon the unauthorised material, or provide any personal, financial or commercial information to parties claiming to represent SEDCE in this matter.

All applications to participate in the PETROS MFS must be made directly to SEDCE through its official application channel. No third-party appointment or intermediary is required to submit an application.

SEDCE urges anyone who has been approached by an individual or organisation claiming to represent SEDCE in relation to PETROS MFS to verify the approach directly with SEDCE and report any suspected unauthorised activity to the nearest police station.

SEDCE has also lodged a police report and is cooperating with the relevant authorities in their investigations. As the matter is under investigation, SEDCE will not comment further at this time.
