Environmentalists oppose genetically modified male mosquitoes that will be first freed in Pulau Ketam in an attempt to kill Aedes mosquitoes which spread dengue fever.

The party has decided to bring forward its party elections to this year after receiving feedback from its members who called for the early elections.

Grassroots leaders are also warning the party president that he would lose if he stood for re-election in December.
