Selangor police chief said that the police will wrap up their investigations tomorrow and will submit their investigation papers to the AG Chambers on Wednesday.

Contrary to the DPM's strong confidence, Mohammad Nizar said that three more BN assemblypersons in his state of Perak were expected to join Pakatan.

The cause of the incident is unknown but does not appear to be the result of "enemy action," a US military statement said.

The deputy prime minister said that talks of other BN representatives joining Pakatan Rakyat in Perak were mere rumours.

The UN refugee agency has received reports this month that at least 80 Rohingya were rescued from a boat that the Thai military had towed out to sea.

Army chief Sarath Fonseka said the LTTE now controlled just a "small strip" of land in the northeast and the rebels were completely cornered.
