Whilst the Selangor Pakatan state government is too preoccupied with internal intrigues over whether the ouster of Menteri Besar Khalid Ibrahim is in the works, its elected and appointed office-bearers have clearly ignored daily livelihood issues in the state resulting with health problems worsening, in particular, the menace of dengue where Selangor is the prime hotspot.

I urge the constituents of Kajang to not be fooled by Pakatan’s empty promises, but to take a good look at the chaos which PKR has caused to them in purposely creating this by-election, and to see the bigger picture and reasons behind this by-election.

It is irresponsible for Anwar Ibrahim and Pakatan Rakyat leaders to give excuses that the deliberately created by-election in Kajang is meant for Pakatan’s common interest and strengthening the coalition in serving Selangorians. Such lame excuses are actually a smokescreen to cover up its attempt to resolve PKR’s power struggle.
