It is irresponsible for Anwar Ibrahim and Pakatan Rakyat leaders to give excuses that the deliberately created by-election in Kajang is meant for Pakatan’s common interest and strengthening the coalition in serving Selangorians. Such lame excuses are actually a smokescreen to cover up its attempt to resolve PKR’s power struggle.

The deliberately created by-election by PKR and Pakatan is not only a waste of public funds but it has also made the people aware of the collateral damage of Pakatan’s very own power struggle.

It is ridiculous and childish for Selangor Mentri Besar Khalid Ibrahim to claim that the by-election will help to upgrade the performance of the Pakatan-led state government and strengthen the foundation of Pakatan in the state so that it will be easier for Pakatan to capture Putrajaya in future.

To prevent the disappointment of the people against PKR and Pakatan, they have not only made excuses to justify their cause but also threatened the Selangorians with a so-called potential crisis on politics, economy and education in the state.

If the resignation of the Kajang state assemblyperson will help to improve the unity of Pakatan and the betterment of Selangor, I hope that Selangor Pakatan elected representatives will resign en masse and hold a state election for the sake of a better future in Selangor.

The voters in Kajang are wise, since the then-state assemblyperson has not contributed to the constituency nor served the people but decided to sacrifice for his party leaders instead of the people, the voters must teach such types of elected representative a lesson in this coming by-election and that they should not continue to vote for Pakatan that prioritises political interest ahead of the electorate.
