COMMENT The following is an abridged transcript of the speech given by the former finance minister in Taiping last night.

'Our inability to grow up in our race relations is the chief reason why investors no longer have confidence in our economy.'

'We loved Exocet missiles. As minister, I had to sign each time the military fired an Exocet missile for testing. Every time, we test fired one of them, RM2 million literally went out with a bang.'
