Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak has revealed that MCA leaders have agreed to hold fresh elections.
It is only a matter of time before they tender their resignations. It is quite shocking that the prime minister once again put the pressure on MCA to hold fresh elections.

True to speculations, MCA vice-president Liow Tiong Lai's faction announced the
cancellation
of the EGM scheduled for Nov 28, purportedly to pave way for fresh elections.
According to Malaysiakini reports, there were smiling faces all round, in stark contrast to the weeping drama on Nov 18. There were no pro-Chua or pro-Ong leaders present at the press conference, giving rise to the belief that it is just a face-saving mechanism carefully crafted by the pro-Liow faction to avoid the EGM from being aborted due to insufficient quorum.
